Who am I and WHY blog?

For years, I have heard the terrible stories of good weddings gone awry. This was in large part due to my working in a Wedding gown and formal wear retail store while I was in high school (it shall remain unnamed- but no store should worry- it is not one that is currently in business).

More stories throughout college as friends and family members were wed. Eager to ease any further wedding faux pas, I was always willing and eager to offer help and advice to my friends and peers but never utilized.

Now, I am engaged myself and I find myself on various web communities researching where to go, where to buy, and what to do. And I also read an awful lot of help books based around wedding etiquette, and budget- since they are concerns of my own.

Here, I'll share reviews of stores and vendors, what I hear from other brides, and offer advice and feedback to the endless questions that surround the planning process and anything wedding related.
