Our wedding is just over 6 months away. Crazy to think how time has flown by!!!
I designed our own Save The Dates and had them printed. They were delivered last week and I put the ribbon through the holes to create bookmarks. I like them and my fiance likes them. They are definitely uniquely ours. That's the great thing about having those graphic design skills! I've been considering creating a side business using those skills. I would help people create Save the Dates, Birth Announcements, moving announcements- things of the like- that are truely unique for them.
Now, we just have to get the Save the Dates in the mail- at least our guests will have 6 months' warning. It's better than 6 weeks.
In a perfect world, they would have been sent in May. While, they didn't get sent at the perfect time (according to every wedding planning book and website out there) at least they are getting sent.
Hopefully everything else will be smooth sailing from here on out.
