I had set an appointment to go to Rush's a few weeks back. However, I had to cancel it because my mom really wants to go with to this particular store. I think it's because she never really searched for her gown and just sort of said "this one will do" when her best friend from h.s. was brought to Rush's. Hence, a reschedule.
I had read some bad reviews on this store from some online forums- specifically citysearch and things like that.
My own experience, on the phone, was great. They were polite when they answered the phone and I set the appointment, and grateful when I called them to let them know I would not be in for the aforementioned reason. Even though I had called on a Monday, when they're closed, I received a call back thanking me for the update. I was pleasantly surprised because of what I had read online. And because of the review, I had questioned whether or not to even go.
I think in today's economy (yes, I went there and I'm sorry- can we "beat a dead horse"?) maybe there have been some attitude adjustments.
I can say with confidence that I will return to Rush's and disregard what the various online forums have said. Some of the posts I've read about various wedding salons are so vicious I wonder if they aren't pitting themselves against each other.
